Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by JAN Studio, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

• JAN Studio: The service provider, sole proprietorship of Janneke Voet
• Client: The natural person or legal entity that commissions JAN Studio
• Services: All services provided by JAN Studio, including but not limited to: storytelling coaching, business training, workshops, keynote development, online courses, and consultancy
• Agreement: The arrangement between JAN Studio and client regarding the services to be provided

2. Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to:

• All offers, quotes, and agreements from JAN Studio
• All services provided by JAN Studio
• All communication between JAN Studio and client

3. Formation of agreement

An agreement is formed:

• Upon written confirmation (email suffices) of a quote by the client
• Upon payment of an invoice or deposit
• Upon commencement of services after mutual agreement

4. Service delivery

JAN Studio provides customized services tailored to the wishes and needs of the client. The specific content, scope, and planning of services are recorded in the agreement or quote. JAN Studio makes every effort to perform services to the best of its ability but cannot guarantee specific results such as revenue increase or client acquisition, unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

5. Rates and payment

Terms regarding payment:

• All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT, unless stated otherwise
• Payment must be made within 14 days of invoice date, unless agreed otherwise
• For some services (such as intensive coaching programs or keynote development), a 50% deposit may be requested
• In case of late payment, the client is in default by operation of law and JAN Studio is entitled to charge statutory interest and collection costs
• Objections to an invoice must be submitted in writing within 7 days of invoice date

6. Cancellation and modification

Individual coaching or consultancy sessions can be rescheduled free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. Cancellation within 48 hours or no-show will result in full charges. For workshops and training: cancellation up to 14 days before start date is free; after that, 50% of the total amount will be charged. Cancellation within 7 days will result in full charges. For online courses, there is no right of withdrawal once you have received access to the materials.

7. Intellectual property

All materials, frameworks, training content, presentations, and other works developed by JAN Studio remain the intellectual property of JAN Studio, unless explicitly agreed otherwise. The client receives a right of use for internal use within their own organization. Commercial use, publication, or resale of materials is not permitted without written consent.

8. Confidentiality

Both parties treat all confidential information received from each other during the collaboration strictly confidential. Information shared during coaching or consultancy sessions is not shared with third parties by JAN Studio without explicit consent from the client.

9. Liability

JAN Studio is not liable for indirect damage, including consequential damage, lost profits, missed savings, or damage due to business interruption. JAN Studio's liability is in all cases limited to a maximum of the amount invoiced for the relevant assignment. JAN Studio is not liable for damage resulting from failure to follow advice or recommendations.

10. Applicable law and disputes

Dutch law applies to all agreements between JAN Studio and client. Disputes are preferably resolved through mutual consultation. If this is not successful, disputes are subject to the competent court in the district where JAN Studio is established.

11. Changes and questions

JAN Studio reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions. Changes take effect after publication on our website. For questions about these terms, please contact us at info@janstudio.biz.
